So I finally got a hard cast on and I have been MUCH more mobile since then. Basically the only thing I can't do is drive. My doctor said I might be able to, but if the judge asks he will tell him that he told me not to. So better safe than sorry.
Since I have been getting around a lot more, thanks to my peeps, I have a new found glory for those handicap carts in stores. I have used them in Publix, Target, Wal-Mart, Trader Joes you name it. For the most part they are easy to get around in. Funny thing is that most of the stores make them a bit hard to get into.....but once your in your golden. My friend had to bitch at the Wal-Mart cart man at the front because all the scooters were lined up together but too close to get my ass into. Also a side note....they will not move until your ass is sitting on them, so it would be a real bitch if a real cripple person was trying to slide onto the seat. Kinda defeats the purpose, but what am I gona do? The best and most annoying part is that damn beeping noise they make when you back up......here comes LB....get the F out of the way. HAHA
